To be fair ive not seen Blackpool airport or its size but there has to be money in it. Everytime a plane lands (anywhere) they pay a landing fee. Then there's avgas (aviation fuel) sales.Cargo. Cafe & little gift shop. Ok you might have a few overheads like air traffic control & a night time security guard. You could buy a few (Briton Norman)10seater 'islander' planes and do trips to Ireland, all the Hebridean islands, mainland Scotland, Isle of Man etc etc. Its not a bad idea.
