Be Quiet! Dark Rock Pro Threadripper 2 Cooler | Computex 2018

Be Quiet! showcased the Dark Rock Pro TR4 cooler at Computex 2018, a new cooler suitable for Threadripper 2 by way of large coldplate.

Be Quiet!'s showcase this year included focus on a refreshed series of cases -- the Silent Base and Pure Base 601 and 801 cases and the Dark Base 900 rev 2. Aside from this, the showcase highlighted just the new Shadow Wings 2 fans, positioned between the Silent Wings and Pure Wings fans.

Thank you Steve for covering these. Most others cover the flashy bigger manufacturers. Just today i was watching some German videos with YouTube translation on these cases and wondered if anyone was going to cover them in English. I was specifically looking for upgraded DB900. I even queried be quiet about it and they said to keep an eye on Computex 2018 ;)

I suspect support for TR4 is going to increase since Intel and AMD are having a freaking core war right now. More coolers and more motherboard options will be nice. Glad to see Be Quite doing an air cooler for it that should out perform a U14s. Can't wait to see you do some thermal testing on these. Still probably won't be enough for much of an overclock, even on the first gen TR's.
