most comment don't have any idea about powder metallurgy because they just watch few second clip and judge the product the metall will get heat treatment and make it way stronger than notmal metal production.this method also allow to get high demensional accuracy with cheaper production cost

Base on comments section i can see They need to learn more from the unhelpful comments, the process of compressing the iron powder is more durable for a long time, after they compress the iron powder They will burn the iron with a high temperature so that the process is completed

Basically this is actually stronger than whatever the powder came from because it can have a more thorough mixture of the composition needed rather than it being quite uneven without this process. The compressed blocks are also put through furnaces to make them strong; without the furnace process its basically the same thing as biting into corn starch except more painful and a-lot harder to do

An upsetting majority of this comment section doesn't know what powder metallurgy actually is. When you have a certain amount of carbides in steel, the size and number of these carbides prevent good results using traditional methods. Powder metallurgy is used to create incredibly high alloy tool steels with lots of vanadium while retaining its toughness and durability.

What's the point of doing these for square stock ? I get it for complex geometry this might be a lot faster but I'm fairly certain than traditional steelmaking is faster and more economic on the long run
