So Gothel is from the Land Without Magic. The humans killed all of the Nymphs, and the whole world became the magic-less reality of today. Gothel killed all of the humans and escaped to the New Enchanted Forest. Now she's back to permanently extinct ALL, because humanity literally re-evolved from the grey fish. Forget "thousands of years later", this chick is HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of years old. Next three episodes are amazing. The first one is like a finale to the season, and the next two are like a SERIES finale.

It is crazy when you realise that Alice/Tilly is a Human/Nymph hybrid and the Guardian + the second to last of an entire species!

So... going into watching this episode, I was really excited to watch because from the promo for it back when this episode aired live on TV, I knew it was going to be mostly centered on Rogers and Tilly, as well as Gothel too. And I'm so happy to say that this episode certainly disappointment me. In fact... it's easily become another of my favorite episodes this season. I told you... these last four episodes are phenomenal and I am so happy you loved Flower Child so much! :)

First... I will start with what little I didn't like about this episode... I didn't care too much for Gothel's reasons for becoming so evil. Don't get me wrong... it was tragic what happened to her family, which I have to say I was completely and pleasantly surprised that she and them were nymphs. I didn't see that coming at all and it was brilliant. But back to my dislike... Of course it's tragic that her family was killed and I understand why she hated those who killed them and who bullied her. But people everyday are being bullied by others and even the cruelty of a few is no reason to hate all of humanity. But to be fair to the fantasy that is Once Upon a Time, I do understand why Gothel went all evil and killed those at the party despite some of them being innocent. But to hate all of humanity for it is a bit extreme just like you said. And now she wants to purge the Earth. Not good. Gothel's backstory and reasoning for doing as she's doing isn't so much of a dislike, but more of a nitpick really. Because overall... I really do quite like Gothel's backstory and that she's a tree nymph, and how she comes to see herself as Mother of all... Mother Gothel.

As for the present storyline... I have a couple of minor pet peeves. I didn't care for Gothel casting a mind spell over the desk Sargent and using him to help her do her bidding. It seemed out of place to me for him to even be involved in this episode at all. Plus... since when has Gothel had mind control powers? I get that her powers are slowly growing as the events occur, but why hasn't she used these powers before to get everyone to do whatever she asked of them, or possibly to make anyone forget whatever she might need them to forget? Unless of course, her magic is slowly growing because she's found the smallest of magic left within our world.

Also... the brief moment between her and Margot was boring and I just didn't care much for it at all. I understand that Gothel needed Margot's blood because she is Tilly's new love and Gothel needed blood from new love, along with old blood, which she got from Rogers/Wish Hook because he's Alice's father and their bond has been strong all along even without their memories, which I absolutely love.

My last two very minor disappointments of this episode, which aren't really real disappoints... are that neither Regina or Weaver were in this episode. But I understand why their characters weren't necessary and it's a tiny detail I can easily overlook. And that this episode ended on a major cliffhanger, which drove me crazy because I'm so excited for what's to come, yet angry that I had to wait an entire week to see it. Agh!!!! :)

Now onto what I absolutely loved about this episode... I like the small storyline between Lucy and Facilier and strangely enough, I felt he was actually genuine in wanting to help Lucy to cure Henry, which really surprised me. He may have his own reasons for doing so that aren't good, but at least he wants the curse to be broken as much as everyone else. And he finally cured Henry!!! I was super excited by that and liked how he used Ella's glass slipper to do it. It was strange that Ella mysteriously had it all along, but... oh well.

I also liked the friendship, or bonding between Gothel and Seraphina. I liked how this episode at least revealed one of the witches' backstories within the coven. Sadly, there aren't enough episodes left to find out who the rest of them are, but... c'est la vie.

But even more so... I was beyond happy that True Love's Kiss between Henry and Jacinda/Ella didn't work to break the curse like this season led us to believe all along, only because I thought their kiss of True Love was far too obvious and cliche. So I was definitely excited for what's to come and boy is it exciting!!!

I love, love, love the storyline between Rogers and Tilly most of all, of course! Their moments together before they were kidnapped were beautiful and I love that it was finally revealed to them both that they are father and daughter, but most of all that they both believe and feel that it's true. Of course Tilly knows that Gothel is her mother too and believed that rather quickly too, which is good and so satisfying when she rejects her when Gothel tries to be a "mother" to Tily, who sees right through her bull. :)

And finally... I really love Rogers' and Tilly's abduction and the entire storyline of the coven, as they force Tilly to become one of them to protect her father, while Gothel threatens Rogers' life. I love how Rogers pleads with Tilly not to do as Gothel wanted her to, yet love that Tilly couldn't let her mother kill him either. I couldn't wait to find how what spell they're casting and all that's to come.

Thank you so much for another phenomenal and fun reaction for Once Upon a Time from you, AlicePlays!!! I'm so excited!!! I can't wait for your reactions for the final three episodes and yes... you will absolutely love them!!!!
