GOVERNMENT & CIVIL SERVICE CHAOS – THE PRIMARY REASONS

The greatest mistake made by all political parties is using the scattergun approach, i.e. trying to ‘hit’ everything at one time. The result is compounded chaos with each action having effect on most of the others. Each government/project team lives in its own thought bunker, largely oblivious to the impact it has on other teams and projects. It’s difficult to think of any government that hasn’t done that. The only way that the damage can be measured is after the damage has been done. Bloody terrible management in my book, as so well proven by past and current governments.

When in government, as opposed to opposition, it is logical to prioritise the use of our country’s resources to achieve the greatest effect. Too many ‘projects’ at one time equals failure. Again, it is logical to reduce the number of ‘live’ projects to a minimum and focus the maximum resources on them, and, once the objective has been achieved, move on to the next priority. In that way the effectiveness and efficiency of each ‘project’ can be more readily and accurately monitored. Our civil servants should be able to do that, but they seldom do and few MPs, if any, can.

Currently and in the past, no-one can or could measure how much damage is done to the country by each project team/department because there isn’t any overall coordinated management of all departments although they would probably argue otherwise.

These points are primary weaknesses in the UK’s method of government, and they must be changed.

Welcome on board late oncomers. We have been shouting this from the rooftops but getting totally ignored long before The UKIP referendum gave us a chance to rock the boat.
An Icebreaker is the ship that is best designed to withstand the huge pressures exerted upon its bows as it smashes the ice to create a channel for the number of less suited ships following.
It is crucial that this analogy is understood and adapted as a tactic in the relentless struggle for survival between democracies and a totalitarian Theocracy.
Although all democracies face the same problems their ability to withstand the pressures and achieve the safe harbour differ tremendously. Its a physical impossibility for some through a myriad of different factors, BUT the Icebreaker achieves on behalf of all! The other democracies behind need only lend their active support and follow in its wake. Our Ice Breaker has to take the Quran publication and prove it is an anathema to democracy! Offer it no protection in any public building or place of learning in that country. The fact that a totalitarian theocracy and democracy cannot co exist needs to be reflected in its law; protected through its law. Common Law was Britain's largest and best export; LAW needs to become paramount again.
Is the USA the Icebreaker and is Farage the one that prompts the action? Maybe Poland prompted by UNITE ? Costs and international expertise will support the country that accepts the task. // Perhaps Reforms greatest task?
