CORONATION STREET’S latest love rat Imran Habeeb could be about to continue his romance with Toyah Battersby as the lovestruck character falls back under his spell in a scandalous twist.

Imran (played by Charlie De Melo) was publicly exposed as a cheat earlier this week on Coronation Street when Toyah (Georgia Taylor) and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) discovered they were both sleeping with the lawyer.

Both women decided to write the man off after they humiliated him in The Bistro, teasing him about a possible threesome.

However, it seems Toyah could be drawn back to Imran as she helped him tend to his injuries after a beating from Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine).

Could this mean Toyah will turn her back on her sister and follow her heart, or could she be setting herself up for heartbreak again?

Tim was seen beating up Imran at the end of tonight’s first visit to the ITV soap, as he believed Imran was behind Sally Metcalfe’s (Sally Dynevor) beating.

Witnessing the vicious attack, Toyah strolled over to the wounded man and asked him if he was ok, with Imran replying he was. “Pity,” the scorned woman told him.

Toyah offered to help the lawyer back to his office. Once they were alone, Toyah cleaned up Imran’s injuries.

“So what was all that about? Trying it on with Sally Metcalfe now,” Toyah innocently joked, naïve to the fact Imran was the reason Sally was sent to prison.

Feeling remorseful for his actions, Imran revealed to Toyah he wanted to apologise to Sally’s family but was beaten up in the process.

All bandaged up, Imran told Toyah he was surprised she helped him after the events earlier in the week.

“Look, I got the wrong end of the stick,” Imran told Toyah, trying to explain why he was sleeping with her and Leanne.

“I was just flattered these two amazing women,” he continued at which point Toyah interjected: “Who both too stupid enough to figure out they were sleeping with you at the same time.”

The lawyer then admitted he was out of order, following with: “I hope in time, we can all be friends.”

However, Imran seemed to be flirting with Toyah when he said if he saw her in the Rovers, he would offer to buy her a drink.

“Only so I could pour it over your head,” Toyah replied teasingly after which she clarified they could only be friends in the future.

Though, her face told a different story. Could a reunion be on the cards in the not so distant future and how would Leanne react to her sister’s romance?

ITV viewers were also teased about another potential love affair on the cobbles, with Tim being comforted by sister-in-law Gina Seddon (Connie Hyde).

On visiting Sally in prison, Gina tried to cover for Tim on why he had erased knuckles, knowing Sally would be furious with Tim’s actions.

However, the taxi cab driver didn’t want to withhold information from his wife, telling Sally he hit Imran which led the tearful prisoner to tell her husband he had made matters ten times worse.

Returning home, the pair began prepping dinner with Gina defending Tim telling him: "You’re a brilliant man. Passionate, strong, not to be messed with,” as she stared at him longingly.

Does this mean Gina will also betray her sister and steal her husband while she’s behind bars?
