Great review, thank you! I'm 60 years old and have WANTED a vintage Enterprise for most of my life. Purchased this back in 2022 and I could not be happier. It is sitting proudly in my Art Studio with a few other Star trek Collectibles that always put a smile on my face.

With a little more effort it would certainly have been possible to illuminate the windows. Unfortunately, there is not a single pre-built model in the entire Star Trek modeling world out there, that manages to illuminate the windows reasonably well. A pity.

I always felt this iteration of the Enterprise is the most elegant design.
I have been thinking about buying it, but it is ridiculously expensive where I live, almost 70 bucks.

So frustrating that Playmates is doing these again and not Diamond Select. They just arent up to Diamonds Quality. The screw holes and clear impulse engine's are completely unneceptable.

Can anyone comment as to how this playmates Enterprise compares to Diamond Select’s TOS Enterprise in all its variations, and is playmates worth picking up if one already owns of the DST TOS Prises etc?

I currently already own the DST 1701 TOS HD variant, and find it’s Pylons to be a little weak or flexible slightly, and this playmates one seemed like the pylons were stiffer in the video. Just curious as to what the consensus was. Cheers!

You should get another one and customize the lights and do a ac/dc adapter to keep it lit up
