So valuable to hear these in context, playing with other instruments.
Totally changes my opinion on which I prefer.
Thank you

All these cymbals sound like an acoustic bass

I just bought a 22" Medium but I'm kinda wishing I got a 20" Renaissance!

Even with my external speakers or headphones, it was very hard for me to hear the difference between them because of the piano and bass. It's a wonderful blend but the cymbals did not stand out enough for me. I really liked what I could hear.

They are all good. My preference is the 20" medium thin low. I would use it for small jazz ensemble work. For big bang jazz, I personally have found that the K or A sweet rides can be heard in the audience and blend well with the band. Lower pitched washy cymbals don't seem to project through a big band in an acoustic setting.

This video was ok but could you turn up the bass next time, I cant hear it.

Thank you for this, I live in an area with the closest music store a 90 minute drive away, so being able to hear these before ordering really, really is a great service, thank you.

The piano and bass volumes should be brought down a little in order to hear the cymbals better. Not a criticism, just a suggestion. Thank you!

News flash: this was supposed to be a ride cymbal showcase. It was lots of loud piano and bass with No Color!! Good job killing the musicality, whoever mixed this! 😂 I couldn’t even hear what the song was titled.

The bass is a little loud. It overpowers the undertones

All of these are amazing. Probably have to go with the 22” Renaissance as my favorite.

Would be nice if I could hear the cymbals over the bass
They all sound the same. Whisper quiet

I love that thin overhammered. It sounds like all of those old jazz records from the 40s, and the 50s.

This is the exact video I needed - something where the cymbals were low enough to hear what it sounds like among other instruments. 22" Medium Thin High it is!

I agree the mix is wrong for this demonstration. I cannot hear any of these cymbals.
