My Last Day at a Toxic Job

Quitting agency work and starting my own practice was the best vocational thing I ever did. I stopped having to deal with bureaucratic BS that was unequally enforced. I’ll be honest— I was a favorite. I’ve always been a teachers pet. I’ve always been a hard worker. I’m a damn dream employee. And now I get to do that for the only boss that will really truly be my ride or die. Even though she’s sometimes a little too demanding. 😅
The truth is, if my former workaholic, people-pleasing, positive-reinforcement-hoarding self has been able to absolutely love life on my own, you probably can, too.
