In this Josh Talk, Swati Pandey, founder of Arboreal talks about her life journey. Born in a middle class family in Madhya Pradesh, Swati was always a bright child academically and went on to crack the JEE. She is also an alumnus of Imperial College in London and has had a high flying career in venture capital and finance. But she was always in search for a purpose in life, and with this she found her calling when she was introduced to stevia. Swati left her high paying job in Singapore and returned to India to start farming. With her passion towards building an impactful organization, Swati started Arboreal, with no prior experience in farming, she learnt about it and started India's first stevia manufacturing plant. Her story will inspire all of us to never give up and start up. She also shares some key takeaways from her journey as an entrepreneur who has built a company worth Rs. 250 crore from farming and became rich as a farmer.
