I actually like this. I am a fervant supporter of the imperials myself but this does show either two things. One that even in his capital the ppl don't really support/ care much for Ulfric or that he isn't as heavy handed a ruler as you would think. Of course it could just be that they are from a prominent family and he lets this slide.

So they have gourds which you can harvest but not cook with and tomatoes which you can find and cook with but no tomato plants I don't get the flora of skyrim.

Fun fact: the empire is continuing the war just as much as the stormcloaks, the stormcloaks are just the voice of the skyrim people

And btw, ulfric mentions how he can't help the dunmer/argonians due to the war effort crippling his economy, so the empires also contributing to the segregation in skyrim
