I guess ive been way too Sarcastic about Trump! His people! And his voters. IM sorry, but when i see Americans, history, decorum etc being torn down after generations of blood, sweat and tears over our history and our allies because of pure unadulterated greed and think about my kids and grand kids futures! I think we have been aware on at sort of ‘theoretical’ level that money was controlling the system, but that there were still SOME ways in which Government was responding to the needs of people. I think we need to recognize the way that money has moved from the bottom 99% to the top 1% (roughly speaking) in an EXPLOSIVE fashion, even just since the Covid pandemic began. The outsized wealth of the richest people in America compared to everyone else has grown exponentially, as has the power of the wealthy.

Every time something happened to expose more of this, we kept saying...Ok, now they'll get it and we can get the changes we need...but each time, it was business as usual. Well, it's looking to be business as usual... unless...maybe???

So in a way, we could thank Trump & co. for showing us all the stink in our way of organizing our society. But, incredibly, instead of seeing this, thanking him, and doing something to drastically change it, the majority of voters have seen it, thanked Trump, and love it!! Psychopathy is popular?! That’s the takeaway in the US?!
