When your family consists of you and your husband and you get divorced, then it's your decision, both of you are responsible for it. But if there are children in the family, then the whole world is collapsing for them and this is a great tragedy.

It is difficult to say for sure which decision will be the right one. But the way Armie's mom acted is a great sacrifice and a manifestation of love for her children. It certainly deserves a lot of respect

my gosh. my father had an affair with his secretary too. it all came out in court in front of my mother when my father and his Sexretary got into an auto accident. my mother never talked about it and never tried to "play the martyr" like this lady. dear armie: don't be played by her.

“I had nowhere to go. I did not want my two sons grow up without a father”. That is a huge sacrifice, not an easy one. A lot of suppressed emotions of a disappointed wife but loving mother to place her kids’ wellbeing above her own. An easier choice would be to leave and play a glorified victim card. She chose a harder path hoping for the best for her children.
