Wow, that's impressive that he plans to build 1.5 million new energy efficient homes. Ok, lets say the homes are for families of four which would be 6 million people would get those houses. With our population of roughly 328 million, who gets to live in those houses? And what about the 322 million people that dont get fancy new houses?
How does building millions of brand new houses, building new cars, and 500 electric car charging stations help the climate? We currently are using fossil fuels today, so he is going to use fossil fuels to build hundreds of millions of new buildings and cars to save the climate from damage caused by using fossil fuels? Is it ok to use fossil fuels on millions of new construction projects that will add to the damage? How do we know that after thats done, we can recover from the extra added damage, not to mention all at once, intead over time to recover?
