This is no different than the parents asking ‘can your fiancé just leave his inhaler or prosthetic leg at home? You can help him walk/breathe.’ A service dog is not a pet. It is needed medical equipment. You wouldn’t ask a person who couldn’t walk to leave their wheelchair behind, so why would the parents think this is ok?

bro i wouldnt go if that happend i would just say no my fiance needs this animal and i do not care what you say-she needs it. and if they didnt say i could take the dog. i would take my bags and get out of there. and not go at all and take care of my fiance and have a good 3 day fun weekend with my fiance
