it works you might have to change a few things but it does work. make it where there is water completely under the tnt that way when you hit the switch the tnt falls into the water and you just stand on top. it works. 12 tnt will launch you about 75 blocks up

made one with the same concept expect it lobs you about 50 block out of course you die when you hit the ground but very cool
