It's fun to listen to your comments Kay. I flew for many years in an Archer and understand your fawning over your Cherokee. I'm 82 and had to give up flying which I miss very much. Keep working with your videos and enjoy it.

25:35 That was me! So one Sunday morning I departed French Valley Airport (F70) and flew to Hemet-Ryan (KHMT) for breakfast. After landing at KHMT and taxing to the restaurant I saw a beautiful Seneca and two young ladies pre-flighting the aircraft. As I got closer to the Seneca I noticed a familiar face: Is that KAY?! IT IS KAY!!! After securing my airplane I walked over and introduced myself. I told her I followed her on YouTube and was a big fan. Kay is SOOOO NICE! She is so friendly and personable. She autographed my logbook with a fun message and gave me a Mystic sticker. What a co-winkydink!!! That was definitely a very special day. Thx KAY!!

Awesome interview. Kay is an inspiration. So skilled and professional. I’m hard pressed to believe she ever has a bad day. The interviewer (did he introduce himself) was also terrific. Such a smooth conversational style yet still covering all the relevant topics. Outstanding presentation skills from both! Well done!

My first instructor was female. Still keep in contact with her 32 years later. She is a check ride captain with Frontier. She was the best instructor. Super detailed. I occasionally watch Kay as well. She does a great job with her videos

I am a frequent follower of Ms. Kay and Pilot Institute. Kay is awesome! I shared this video on Facebook and suggested to the young ladies if they are searching for a rewarding career to watch this video about Kay’s journey into aviation. I’m 67 retired law enforcement of 33 years and I have always been interested in flying. 6 months ago I started my lessons, however after 3 lessons I had to give it up because of hearing issues. I wear hearing aids and the engine noise was drowning out the intercom and radios. I tried Bose, Light Speed and even in ear headsets. Nothing helped!

Great to see Kay on this channel. The content about the production was very interesting. I am a video hobbyist and do short production and although the quality of her videos (especially the audio) is so great I had almost not though about how hard this would be. My video editing software has a 'audio normalization' AI function it does a pretty good job of keeping the audio at the same level... her videos keep pulling you back in. Thanks to both of you for what you do. I have followed Pilot Institute and learned a lot for 101 training for my drones.

I found this interview fascinating. I will say, I completely agree with Kay in that, I made my initial videos for Me, since Flight training at the beginning was like drinking from a fire hose. I couldn’t distill what my instructor was saying, while experiencing all that was happening in the cockpit. That’s why I decided to start my YouTube videos from the first day of training. Actually, I started my YouTube videos and channel before I started Flight trading. But she is correct, I would hear things during training, only to realize that I didn’t really catch what my Flight instructor was saying. The videos really helped me, and I hope that they helped others as well. Definitely a great interview.

Just discovered your program- not a pilot but I find it very interesting- VET USN AND USCG- my cousin went through pilot training like you did in MICH- now flying for major commercial airline( visit Great Lakes sometime- beautifull- )!!- also have a brother with a A AND P LICENSE- worked on planes and automotive.

My dad was a pilot and I grew up wanting to follow in his footsteps. Unfortunately, my vision prevented me from becoming a pilot so I still carried the torch the best I could by getting my A&P license. I'm currently a T.I. on an army maintenance contract and I love it.
