Really happy for you I just got 1 the day after labor day, you can get a damper shock for the tailgate 35.00 its really nice and takes about 1/2 hour to install. I don't like the nose down thing so I put Eibach leveling springs on mine they have almost the same rating as the stock springs, I also did projector amber C clamp headlights made by Raptor retro fit they are awesome. Again I'm very happy for you enjoy your journey with your new toy

Congrats on the badass truck! I love Gen. 1 raptors; I know you mentioned you don’t have the slow release tailgate, although there’s a solution to that problem online. They sell slow release struts for the bed for this reason. Hope you enjoy it for years to come, can’t wait to see what you have in store for this build.

Even though they are built for off road... I won’t take mine too... off road... not ever doing Baja runs..I’m just driving mine on regular roads, my daily driver, I didn’t buy it to beat it and I didn’t buy it to keep in the garage safe from the elements, I bought it to drive to my daily destinations
