I got A51 two weeks back and my display has scratches already. Even the cheaper phones has gorilla glass 5 and this one has glass 3 version. This time samsung really disappointed me. I spent 7$ on gadgetshieldz screen protector to protect my phone from scratches.

also with the note 9 you have to take into account that the battery is a couple years old now where as with the A51 its a new battery. Hard choice

advice Don't buy saMsung with exynos always go for snapdragon.
Exynos gets hot faster and is poorly optimised. A51 and note 9 are both a big no for me, the s10 lite and the A71 are better otion

The note 9 build quality is just poor. Always owned samsung and this is the first one that looks horrible while using a case. Camera glass is cracked, and the steel sides have marks all over them. Of course it is my own fault but the s7 edge I had was used exactly the same and looked mint after 2 years... So plastic is not always bad.

Note 9 wins this battle in many ways.. I run the Samsung unlocked 512gb/8gb ram model, running flawlessly still, I also use a 128gb sd card, so I've only used about 75gb of my 512gb, keeps it running smooth storing everything on the sd card.. I also bought my son the 128gb version because these phones are so great. Definitely recommend an unlimited data plan on these awesome phones, eventually maybe I'll try just using the on board storage only, I've always like to keep all my music on the sdcard along with my videos I take, definitely needs a high speed sdcard, regular card wont work with hd video recording
