- Pick CPU: Either INTEL or AMD
- Pick Matching Motherboard based on CPU
- Pick a CPU cooler.
- RAM: Pick the same brand total of 4 sticks. total ram memory you should run 32GB or 64GB
- GPU - Pick either Nvidia card or AMD
- SSD/NVME Drive - 1TB drive as your main and a second one of choice for storage

The latest firmware late 2023 has now made my atomx cast work property. I have to have all hdmis connected as actual live feeds for the usb to work with the atomos cast desktop software and its great. What is not fixable is how God damn fragile the connection is. If you even bump the unit anywhere including the base the connection from the battery terminal just disconnects. DO NOT TOUCH THE DEVICE OR MOVE IT IN ANY WAY and you should be good.

This would open up so many practical and creative opportunities. Even in my day job, just being able to switch between two cameras during a Zoom training session would be awesome. Atomos' problems developing the firmware is troubling.

I really hope that it allows the 4k input to be used with other inputs as PIP and with the other features such as logos, I didn't initially realise that the inputs are only 1080p and that's a little disappointing. At this price I suppose they just wanted to match the competition rather than beat it. The website and documentation don't mention this, is there anything in the manual?

I wish I saw your video before I purchased it. My CAST just showed up today and I was livid to find out that it doesn't do anything....right now. Ugh!

Do you think it will record all 4 inputs (isolated recording)? Or just the program?

Thank you for the video. I was looking at this to “maybe” replace my ATEM Mini Pro. I already have the Ninja V that records my Program out view from the ATEM Mini Pro.
