I'm watching from Costa Rica, last time I went to a park in San Jose, the capital of Costa Rica, I wanted to show the park to my 6 year old boy and unfortunately, in one of the most important parks of the capital of Costa Rica we stumbled upon a woman defecating! I will never ever go out to any city of Costa Rica, is sad, I see those videos of Russia and I wish to go back to Moscow and Saint Petersburg to feel again that sensation of walking normally without having to watch those sad things!

Thanks Russell. The best thing about your channel is how effective it is as a tool to overcome the appalling ignorance and idiotic propaganda-induced blindness of people back here in Australia (I am in Melbourne) to ANYTHING about Russia. Your vids, with their simple and straightforward content, are so obviously authentic and agenda free, they are better than anything else I can think of in demolishing the propaganda and ignorant memes surrounding Russia and life there, and opening up people's eyes. At school and Uni I learnt the Russian language—a rare thing for an anglo-Australian—and so learnt much about the country and travelled there, riding on the Trans Siberian railway, way back in the 1980s, not long before the end of the USSR. So I have always maintained an interest in Russia, and its probably the reason I haven't been susceptible to the Russia-phobic rhetoric and propaganda that is so entrenched. But it's a lonely position to be in. I rarely, if ever, meet anyone who understands anything close to the reality of life in Russia—and most people are unlikely to accept my opinions, despite probably being one of the few people they meet who is knowledgable at any level about the country. It makes me feel very isolated sometimes, especially when the propaganda is flowing fast and furiously has it has been over the past couple of years, and it makes me nostalgic too and want to get back and see Russia again. Thanks again and keep up the great work. It's probably more important than you think :-)))

One of Russell's best videos! It shows an evening of an ordinary working day (not a weekend) with hundreds and thousands of beautiful and relaxed people walking in a park with beautiful architecture, a promenade, cafes, paths and paths among manicured greenery and ponds with boats and catamarans. With people doing sports, dancing and just relaxing. The atmosphere of relaxation, celebration and beauty in the center of the metropolis.
Everywhere is green, clean, beautiful and well-maintained and safe. And not a single drunk, bully or drug addict!
And, of course, the best of all is the dance floor and the boy on a scooter with the song "Blood Group" by Tsoi. The boy is just a future star. He sang and left. Moscow in this video is especially beautiful and attractive.

Russell, sadly, where I am in California, usually the only people who will hang out in parks are druggies, gang-bangers, troublemakers, and of course, the homeless. It makes me shake my head seeing how there are so many happy, peaceful people in the park. I so envy you for where you live. I hope to someday have the same. Ha! The little guy singing, I recognized the song "Gruppa Krovi" originally sang by Kino!
