I want another Panther, I've had 2 and they were both fantastic and miss them both. I've got a Taurus now and it's fairly quiet and comfortable but it's not the same, the Vic is the ultimate in comfort and reliability, and the V8 sound is icing on the cake.

With the Crown Vics, Town Cars, and Grand Marquis you have to throw on some tips like the Marauders to improve the sound if you delete the mufflers.

Have always owned Crown Vic’s. Have had 6 panthers. Those who have civilian models, once you go true dual to the bumper, it brings that baby to life. 03 and up, I install that k&n cold air intake on them. It’s $260ish, but best money you’ll spend to go hand in hand with your dual. Never dyno’d any of them, but it’s such a noticeable difference, especially in the mid range. But the sound is a thing of beauty. Dual by itself sounds great, but combined with the intake, it’s way worth it if that’s your thing.

I've always wanted to do this with a Rover 75 as it uses the Ford 4.6, albeit the slightly more powerful version as found in the Mustang.

Something about a big British luxury saloon making muscle car noises entertains me greatly. Plus they have so much wood/leather/sound deadening inside it would probably still make a great cruiser!

0:34 my 08 P71 has flowmasters 40s and all 4 cats with chrome 22 inch tips and it sounds perfect to me.. quiet idle but you can still hear some rumble and still sounds mean when you step on it

With the body slowly turning to rust on my P71, I've been considering painting it pink.

People put flow masters on their panther cars after straight piping them cause it actually gives more of a muscle car tone to it

I did this to my 07 awhile ago. BUT it does have a load hum at 60 mph, and vibrates like a car with no mufflers. But hey I love it!

I'm over here complaining about my car having a few little chips in the paint when most of them like this or worse. I'm think about deleting my mufflers, putting on chrome tips, adding a spoiler and Mustang rims and repainting it white. I only have 107k miles on my 2011 P7B.

I think the whole point of saying true duals is that you don't just have a single exhaust going into a y pipe at the back. H pipes, x pipes, no crossover are all true duals. H pipes/x pipes don't hurt anything. Having no crossover doesn't help anything unless you like the sound.
