HE BETTER BE! I love Enterprise! And the Orville, brought back Picardo and Billingsley which made it feel like we got another season of some kind of Trek. I've met Connor. He's sweet. But honestly he better be alive because first T'pol loses her mother and her baby, don't make her lose her soulmate too. And his parents, already losing not one kid but two. I'm really hoping that this was just holodecked. Also, Lower Decks did have Trip and T'Pol married for 63 years.

Personally, I'd be ok with a lot of the Enterprise finale being retconned since it all happened on a holodeck and the details were just "artistic license" by the writer.

I never believed Trip died. But, Connor Trineer at every convention I've been to says he did. I always respectfully disagree with him. I never asked him why he's so invested in Trip's death. Maybe one day I'll get the chance to ask him.

Yes in the Enterprise novel, The Good That Men Do, he fakes his death and joins Section 31.
It may be "Beta canon" but its also my head canon and thus like JP says "I reject your reality and substitute my own"
