We are stuck with players we are unable to sell because we always went for targets that’s difficult to develop and increase in market value. Plus we pay obscene wages that are not justified by performance nor potential.

Selling wan bissaka is a mistake. Like ji sung park used to do, wan bissaka could come into the side against a big team and silence a player. You dont find people like that everyday.

Mazraoui is very unique for a fullback, very good passer who is excellent at short, medium & long passes (very rare for any player), both footed, press resistant, technically solid, tactically elite and for a fullback. It's like having and extra winger with very good dribbling ability. Although his weakness is defending, he is decent at it. If he gets coaching like Dalot. He would be defensively solid, he has the attributes. He could become one of the full backs in Europe. Once people see him play over a season, they will soon forget about AWB.

People complaining about signing young players just look at Barcelona with players like Pedri, Pablo Torre, Mikael Faye and Noah Darvich who looks like the next German magician.. Barcelona sign these young players for cheap who later become world beaters.

Real Madrid do almost a similar thing but with mostly Brazilian players Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and now Endrick are good examples...They also sometimes sign young European players just look at Odegaard now, Real Madrid were not wrong about him they just didn't give him time and now they have Arda Guler who looks like a phenomenal Talent.

I'm a Ten Hag in guy but something that's bothering me is his talk of needing more depth, having a strong squad and "survival of the fittest", etc but depth isn't the issue, we're not looking to add more players we're looking to replace players. Last season our LB options were Shaw, Malacia, Regulon and Dalot and we still had issues. Same at CB with Maguire, Martinez, Varane and Evans (Shaw also). That is more than enough for these positions so I hope he isn't just putting it down to depth and is actually addressing the issue of why we're getting as many injuries as we are

I just want us to be keeping our youngster... Just imagine the mistake they made in selling Anthony Elanga.. He is better than our wingers that we buy with big money
