Khiva is the most picturesque old city along the Silk Road. The cities old world charm remains after thousands of years. A formidable mud castle wall surrounds the settlement protecting countless heritage sites. There are old palaces, madrassahs, mosques, and minarets, all covered in bright blue tiles that contrast so well against the desert landscape. Old market streets weave through the old city taking you back in time when silk and spices ruled the world. Khiva was one of my favorite stops in Uzbekistan, and here’s how it went…

Two questions, first onr do you think one full day is enough for Khiva, (tough you yes one day is enough but just wanted to double check your thoughts after the shoots).
