We look at every racing game coming in 2025, listing the titles we think will take the sim racing world by storm or that may emerge as dark horses.

For those looking for arcadey thrills, there's the reboot of Tokyo Xtreme Racer and GeneRally 2, with those looking for super-serious sims covered by the likes of Rennsport and Project Motor Racing.

I'm sure we'll agree, however, that there is one standout racing game we're all very much looking forward to: MXGP 25.

No, sorry, Assetto Corsa EVO. Yes, that's the one.

It feels like 2025 will be the year that all the game studios that received big investment during the COVID boom are now revealing the fruits of the last 4 years of development - very, very exciting. I'm a sim racer... but also so so excited for iRacing Arcade and Wreckfest 2... pls!

Everyones really hyping up EVO (understandably) but lets be careful, putting it on a pedestal already could only lead to dissapointment. EMS is looking very interesting.

AC Evo, Tokyo Extreme Racer, Project Motor Racing, Wreckfest II, JDM, Endurance Motorsport, plus updates for the games I already play and the mods for the OC Assetto. 2025 will be the last time i got a social life.

Yes, Wreckfest 2, baby!
Can't wait. The already outrageously fun Wreckfest is still going strong but a version 2 sounds like it'll be even more fun, especially if they manage to improve on an already great physics engine. And of course, add VR support.

You missed out on “Screamer”, announced during the VGAs, which I assume is a revival of the old Screamer games. - I’m not sure what to think of that trailer, but something is happening with an arcade racing game.
