Back in 2008 I did a T-56 swap in my 03 Mach 1 and installed a line lock along with a spec stage 3 clutch, 26 spline input shaft, aluminum flywheel, cobra aluminum driveshaft . Later I built the rear end with 4.10 gears but wished I had went with 3.73s because the 4.10s seems a little steep with the T-56.

I put a new mcleod clutch in my Mach also replaced the pivot ball and clutch fork at the same time. A lighter flywheel and a aluminum driveshaft with 4.10s in the rear. Did it all in one go.

Not sure if this helps you or not, but when i bought my new exedy clutch i had it sent to a machine shop with the flywheel to be balanced (have heard clutch manufacturers "rarely" balance pressure plates nowadays). Clutch was over an ounce out of balance, and the flywheel was perfectly zeroed. They said i wouldve definitely had a vibration had i just bolted it all on.

biggest challenge for me was the top passenger bolt. Almost stripped it using a u joint. Ordered a long 13mm boxed ratchet and went from the top and was able to getter at it better.

what clutch are you going with I’m thinking about getting a new one not sure which one I should get
