BACKGROUND MUSIC

Luz Noceda is a Dominican-American teenager from Gravesfield, Connecticut, who accidentally stumbles upon a portal to another world instead of going to a juvenile detention summer camp. Arriving on an archipelago known as the Boiling Islands, formed from the remains of a dead Titan, she befriends rebellious witch Eda Clawthorne (aka "The Owl Lady") and her adorable roommate, the demon King. Despite having no magical abilities, Luz pursues her dream of becoming a witch, serving as Eda's apprentice at Owl House, and eventually finds a new family in an unlikely setting.

The second season, which directly follows the events of the first season's finale, follows the main protagonists working together to return Luz to the Human Realm, help Eda face her curse, and seek the truth about King's past, as they battle the tyrannical Emperor Belos and his minions while planning the Day of Unity to unite the human and demon realms and, thus, destroy all witches forever.

In the final specials, set a couple of months after the second season, Luz and her friends are out to save the Boiling Isles from the evil Belos and the chaotic Collector.

I love moments like this where the extremely skilled fighter just absolutely clowns on a random bully without throwing a single punch, I loved it when Aang did it in S3 EP02 The Headband, I love it here, and I will always love these moments.

Considering Hunter was THE Golden Guard of the Emperor on the boiling isles, he went really easy on the guy. As for Willow, I wonder if all witches (or maybe humans too, right Luz?) Get all hot whenever the one they like does something badass? Lol

I love that Hunter actively tried not to hurt this man. All of the moves he made were out of self defense and making sure his opponent came out of the fight unscathed but knowing he couldn’t land a hit on Hunter

What's fun is that a lot of those moves are things you can actually do. Like, his parries are totally normal parries we were taught in self-defense class.

Hell, the style of defense here is important too. He wasn't fighting. Notice how Hunter never did anything to hurt his opponent? All he did is protect himself, and eventually he took down his attacker in the least aggressive way possible.
