We live in Kuching, in the Malaysian state of Sarawak. We love living here and we love the truly Borneo lifestyle we have. There is a big difference between the Dutch Culture and the Malaysian Culture as the Netherlands is a small country in Europe and Malaysia is a warm tropical country in Asia.

In this video we talk about previous Malaysian Priministers, about the National Flag and about some unusual Malaysian Habits.

Actually there are 3 federal territories. Some people often missed Labuan, and it is the one of the original two Federal Territories before Putrajaya. KL, Labuan, Putrajaya in that order. And sometimes we loosely says we have 14 states, with the other one is Federal territories which comprises all 3. And the origin of 14 stripes on our flag is actually for Singapore, so when they left we didn't think we need to revise our star and stripes count, so we just say the 14th stripe is for Federal Territories in general, which is also why when we created Putrajaya we don't add on extra stripes or the star points.

Anyway that is just a small correction that I wanted to share with the audience also, I dare say your knowledge is far better than many Malaysians that born and bred here, and congratulations! I actually knew something about Sarawak from your videos and it is very impressive. Thanks for promoting Sarawak and Malaysia :)

Hi Nick, one important thing to become how Malaysian are you is to speak Manglish. Come in lah (Malay), Hai-ya (Chinese), Ayo-yo (Indian) at the end or in the beginning of every sentence....just like Uncle Roger. Very funny one...that guy.
