Actually, chords are easier to learn than you think because you don't do much with your left hand and it also makes a difference if you want to learn it because with the keyboard, also called a keyboard, you learn chords right from the start and I started with the keyboard and not the piano where you play the individual notes and as a beginner you learn C major, G major and D7, which came later is C7, F major, D7 and now I can play most of the chords from major to minor and also seventh chords

Chromatic map of keys:
Major: 1.5.8
Minor: 1.4.8

Let '1' be the 1st note, then play 5th and 8th note. That is a major chord.
Rearrange them (5, 8, 1) and that is 'inverted'. Same chord just different order.
Now you know how to play any chord (major or minor) starting
with any key.

And yes, reading music is slow. But at 63 all I have is time,
and I continuously slowly flip through 500 pages of Music of the Scottish
Highlands since it was laying around from my fiddle days.
