We have a similat thing in Russia. My grandma used to cook it for me. We also call it a chocolate sausage. We also use crumbled cookies. And then we melt butter with sugar, cocoa powder and a little milk. Then you mix it all together and also wrap it in a plastic.
I wouldn't cook your version though. A raw egg? Doesn't sound nor tasty, nor safe to it.
