Through torrential downpour, it came down to Samoa and New Zealand in the final of the men's HSBC Rugby Sevens Tournament in Cape Town and we couldn't have asked for a better final to end the year on!

Congrats to Samoa for their first major win in 6 years. Best of luck to them in the next tour! No idea what happened to SA at the end there. My wish of seeing the USA get beat by NZ came true, but then they go on to beat the Blitzboks? Have The Eagles EVER won a match against SA in 7s or 15s before??!!! You truly can't take anything for granted in 7s!

I've never watch a series so competitive. 8 or 9 Teams can win a leg anytime. Argentina, Australia, Fiji, NZ, Brittish, Ireland, USA and Samoa are the top 8. Then the wild cards Spain Uruguay and Kenya have potential to compete with the big 8. Amazing Series we having
