I watched several autocomplete tutorials and this was the most conceptually complete in terms of coverage e.g using time as weight.

One suggestion: can we also talk about single point failure and possible solutions for that? This topic seems to help a lot on making design decisions and weighing tradeoffs.

I think for distributed storage and cache, Redis could be useful in which the trie data can be partition into multiple shard redis servers . No need for zookeeper in maintaining the trie metadata which is bit a complicated and creates some overhead
