Hey everyone! Was reading through your comments and y’all brought to my attention Mac isn’t cruelty free!! I didn’t know this, and I definitely should have mentioned that in the video + that would have effected my overall review of the brand. I’ll make sure to do more research in the future! But for anyone who doesn’t know Mac is not cruelty free 👎

I bought a mineralized skinfinish as a highlighter for my prom back in high school and I still use it today. No, you never hit pan 😂 I’m 25 now and it barely has a dent in it!!

Retired MAC Artist chiming in. The skin finish is a mineralized powder foundation not a "bronzer" you can use it as a bronzer and that's what may be causing your skin to look oily as well. That whole line (Mineralized) is kinda intended to give a you a luminous skin finish aka oily look lol. You can try matte bronze it's a nice not to orange color. That mascara is one of my favorites but when you use it wiggle side to side as you move up it give a great result.

*READ THE COMMENTS BELOW FOR A DEEPER EXPLANATION* As someone who does makeup for people all the time, MAC is one I don't recommend for daily wear on the face products. Mostly the foundation and powders. The best way to explain it is MAC is not much different then the pancake stage makeup used. While it's full coverage, it will clog your pores. So if you have sensitive or acne prone skin it's going to give you problems. I really only recommend it for special occasions and not as a daily wear product. I hope that also helps anyone else who was wondering if it's worth purchasing or curious.

Yes MAC foundation breaks not everyone, but a lot of people, out. It breaks me out and I used to be really sad about it because I loved the way the foundation looked. The face and body foundation doesn’t break me out, but it’s way lighter in coverage!

I will forever love MAC…it was one of the OG brands to serve women of colour in their shade range…also the waterproof mascara is built for days-wore it and went jet skiing and it did not come off
