Hi Anna! As an Italian, I can confirm we do say “boh” a lot :) It’s one of those words that will make you sound so fluent!

I’m Italian and I love seeing the others try to learn it, especially your motivation is AMAZING😍

I'm italian and we totally say "boh" for real lol. "Vabbè" is also used as some sort of "whatever", you know, to brush something off (or as a conclusive "alright" like "vabbè catch u later"). 🥰

I literally wanted to start Arabic last week, and it was holding on all week, and then Friday zoe.languages posted a video on Arabic history so I took it as a sign to start. I did this with Russian in January and this was before i really knew my study schedule and how i enjoyed learning my languages so it didnt last very long but it reignited my love for Swedish. I don't know if this is what is going to happen with Arabic but I'm enjoying it for the time being

I can relate to that last part a lot. I’ve started a lot of languages but then stopped once that initial excitement wears off and I’m left with no motivation. I’m currently studying mandarin and I think that I’ll actually stick with it this time because I want to travel to china and Singapore, so it should keep me motivated

You always talk about lingopie so I’ve decided to finally give it a shot! I’ve been learning Korean for 6 years and I’ve always used Viki’s built in learning or browser extensions but I want to make my life a lot easier, so here we go! (Also the camp rock reference was good clever 😂)

could you maybe make a playlist with all your videos that are about language learning? we could find them so much more easily & it would be so helpful 🥹🫶🏻

We actually say "bo" and "va be" with the same meaning that you said, only as informal language, better no with teachers and in emails.
Good luck in your learning!

Basically “boh” stands for a big “I don’t know😂” and it’s pronounced like while “va be’” is more like “I don’t care/whatever” 😊. I’m glad to see you’re learning Italian:))

I've been living in the Netherlands for almost two years now and I'm trying to learn to speak more freely but it's hard to let go of a fear of failure :(. Can you maybe recommend the Dutch creator you mentioned? <3
