Java Lecture 1: Compile and Run the First Java Program

In the video, I use a simple text editor and a terminal (command prompt) to write and compile a program. In the video, I mentioned the use of TextEdit and XCode for Mac. In reality, the use of TextEdit will be hard because TextEdit will try to save everything to non-text format like rtf. It is easier with XCode. Other options for mac are --- TextWrangler, Eclipse, and NetBeans. Eclipse and NetBeans are great for Windows computers too.
