Connor is beyond done. He’s been done for years at this point, the second Dustin snapped his leg it was over for Connor and he was never coming back from that. And even if he does eventually make it to a fight he will never perform the same. The only thing that bothers me about Connor these days is I wish he would stop his fake tough guy persona because he’s clearly not about it anymore and it’s actually embarrassing. I’m almost embarrassed for him, it’s like seeing that guy from high school saying “I could’ve gone pro” but Connor did take it to the top, he just can’t shut up about it and assumes we all live in the past like he does.

He’s not had his heart in it for a while. I was watching the Monaco Grand Prix a couple of years ago. He was there in his Lamborghini boat. He got interviewed on Sky Sports and the interviewer asked him when he’s going to return to the UFC. He didn’t like that question he looked fed up and just his demeanour and the look in his eyes. You could see the fire and desire had gone. He’s made his money and is clearly enjoying himself and why go through all that when you have 8-9 figures in the bank?

I stopped paying attention to Conor a while back. The only thing that bothers me now is how all this back-and-forth media bullshit between Dana and Conor is really breaking it off in Chandler. I'd kind of like to see Chandler back in there getting it done. Just seems Chandler deserves better treatment than he's getting.
