Hiking Sitton Peak: Santa Ana Mountains (Cleveland National Forest, CA
Sitton Peak is one of a handful of good hikes off of Ortega Highway. Due to the low elevation, cool days are the best times to visit. Conditions were perfect for me and I barely drew a sweat from the hike. Although it was a Saturday, it was a peaceful and lightly visited day in the San Mateo Canyon Wilderness.
