I'm trying but when turning it off the logo appears really early and then it turns on, I can get it turned off but when I then hold down the volume up and power it just turns back on

Thanks. I tried the factory reset, but it denied me without my email password. It would not recognize my email password. The hard reset via the buttons worked however. I want to take my phone in to a repair shop to see if they can change the CSC country settings as I really need the call recordings and terrified apps will flood my phone with ads. The reason I gave up on iPhones is they dont allow call recordings without jumping though hoops. Im driving while on bluetooth getting instructions from customers and want the ability to review the conversation while on site. Writing while driving is not an option. I wish they's make a pure business phone as iPhones seem to be more for music and games. I want a phone for work, taking pictures of work, taking calls and recording calls for work. I also found that iTunes was too complicated just like theres perpetually Microsoft account problems. These smart people think we all want to play with their devices when some of us just want a phone for work. No ads, no music, no games, just a phone with call recording, maps and tough.

For those whom this is not working, it only worked for me once I connected the phone to my PC with a USB-C cable (both sides). Otherwise, it just rebooted into the normal mode.

I have a new phone and ive transfered all my data accross but now i want to do a factory reset, however the soft reset wont work as i have to find my email account which i dont have anymore to do a soft factory reset, but when i do your method that doesnt work either, do i need to have my sim card in the phone at the time of resetting ?

My message alerts are not working even after checking all settings and network reset. When message comes but no sound or vibration and red alert flashes for second but disappears.

Must I do a factory restore to get back functional?
