12 Bad Luck

I recorded this song in my garden during the first lockdown. It was only a few weeks after being discharged from hospital in Australia.I received excellent medical care, and was so fortunate to get back to the UK in time to spend 2020 at home. I wrote this song for our last Black Peaches record, I guess it’s about giving over to the hand of fate.
As something of a control freak, letting someone else take the wheel doesn’t come easy, but I’m extremely grateful to realise that often others know what’s best. Xxxxx

This one really resonates with me Rob. My wife and I were fit and healthy at the start of 2020 but by the end of summer we'd both had major surgery to remove tumours. This song is beautiful. We had bad luck but fate took care of us. Xx
