This is accurate. Unfortunately, I wasn’t ever allowed to fight back unless and until my life was in danger…so when the disrespect started, it got worse and worse. This is universal. I lived all over and it was the same.

Wasn’t until senior year when things started to calm down. But by then, I was dominating my academic achievements while most of them was on the verge of being kicked out or held back. Plus I was repping the school in robotics club competitions. I became the hero. But took a LOT of beating along the way.
