Android Firebase here my folks.How to save data to firebase,retrieve that data,show it a ListView.Here we deal with multiple fields.The listview is goin to consist of cardviews.Its a custom listview.Now then handle itemclicks.Showing a toast message.First we create firebase app,change the authentication and setup our gradle files.

I have a problem with this. Every time I start up the project it does not show the list of names until I begin to add a new one in, then it populates the entire list with the names stored in the database. Any idea why this is happening?

your code is not correct first it gives error cannot convert object to string
second list view not loading first time activity starts i have to recreate or again start the activity to fetch data please sort it out..

I have added more than one child in a root of firebase database. I am trying to access each one at particular condition but this code accesses the last child only. give me suggestion what I have to do?
