Storm Large on Weill's The Seven Deadly Sins

Показать описание
When Storm Large was fronting rock bands in her 20s, she had no idea that she would eventually feel comfortable singing with a full symphony orchestra. But in 2013, the Portland-based singer took the stage with the Oregon Symphony to perform Kurt Weill’s The Seven Deadly Sins, a gritty fable about American consumerism that perfectly fits Storm’s on-stage persona. Since then, she’s established herself as a leading interpreter of the piece, performing it to great acclaim with orchestras around the country. This May, Storm joins the Oregon Symphony once more, this time to record the piece for an upcoming commercial release. She shares her excitement to return in this video preview.
