Giuseppe Verdi: MACBETH

Bizarre, ominous, evil and, in an oppressive way, frighteningly present: Shakespeare's ‘Macbeth’ finds projection surfaces in every era – the lack of demarcation between the political and the private, fluid intersections between power and unscrupulousness or dangerous fusions of vision and delusion make it possible.

In Giuseppe Verdi's dark opera adaptation MACBETH, Marie-Ève Signeyrole and her directing team explore the manipulative and psychological dynamics of the tragedy.

Premiere on Saturday, 23 November 2024, with further performances on 27/30 November, 4/8 December 2024, and 11/19/25 January 2025.
