Inflation soared over the past year at its highest rate in four decades.

The CPI Year over Year from December 2020 to December 2021 is recorded at 7.5%, the highest in 40 years.

In this video, I'll explain why it's actually a lot higher than that.

For those of us who get a raise once a year that is usually around 2.7-3.0%, we will be getting robbed by our employers and just falling even further behind.

Rent at my apartment complex is going up by 15% next year, luckily I managed to secure the same rate.

Marko been watching you for a long time - keep it up I appreciate your honest views - more people need to wake the F up about what is happening to their wealth - especially those, myself included middle class folks - we work hard for our money why is it our group always get the short end of the stick? ~

I don't know, Marko. I'm never gonna dance again. Guilty feet have got no rythm.

Money supply increase of 30% doesn’t create “transitory” inflation. The writing was on the wall two years ago, we’ve just had to wait for the velocity of money to increase.

Looks like a growing possibility of a 50 bps rate hike. It's bizarre they're still purchasing assets though, it should have stopped at the last meeting

Look at those rent inflation numbers while mocking those who live at
I own a house, but I can easily see how people still live at home - it's a joke out there!
- Literally the same apartment I rented for $550 per month, is now $975 ($425/month increase over 15 years).

It's crazy how far the US dollar still goes in Turkey though. I'm flying out there in April to get some dental work done at a place that looks like it was designed for a Kardashian at a quarter of what it would cost in the US.

I watched till the end this time 😅. I do think inflation will go down naturally in the second half of 2022 as this is a YOY metric, and this Fall it will compare with Fall 2021 which was around the time when inflation started to jump.
My biggest expense is child support, and that is fixed.
My second biggest expense is rent, and I'm worried that it will jump up this year.

Just a hunch here - and I could be and am willing to be completely wrong - I think a crash is coming in all markets. Interest rates will rise (and I think they need to). The supply for homes will go up with steady increases in foreclosures reducing demand. And the overall markets may go in correction or recession territory with all major variables considered. Now, I hate all the doom and gloom type personalities out there. For every time Schiff or Burry make a prediction on a crash they are usually wrong. They predicted 1 crash, that’s it.
