1. Sauté the Onion:
Chop one onion (200 grams) and heat a pan over medium heat. Add a little vegetable oil and sauté the onion until soft and golden.
2. Add Garlic and Tomato Paste:
Stir in one tablespoon of garlic (15 grams) and two tablespoons of tomato paste (40 grams). Cook for about one minute to enhance the flavors.
3. Add Bell Pepper and Hot Pepper:
Toss in one chopped bell pepper (140 grams) and chopped hot pepper to taste. Stir well and cook until the peppers soften.
4. Mix in the Shredded Chicken:
Add 400 grams of boiled and shredded chicken. Leftover chicken works great for this recipe! Stir until the chicken is fully coated with the mixture.
5. Incorporate Tomatoes and Spices:
Dice two tomatoes (250 grams) and add them to the pan along with one teaspoon each of cumin, coriander, paprika, and black pepper. Season with salt to taste. Let everything simmer for about five minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
6. Fold in the Fried Potatoes:
Add 200 grams of fried potatoes to the pan. Gently mix them in and cook for another two minutes to combine all the flavors.
7. Garnish and Serve:
Finish with a sprinkle of chopped coriander and serve warm with bread.
In a large kneading bowl, combine:
One cup of warm milk (250 ml)
One tablespoon of dry yeast (10 grams)
One tablespoon of sugar (15 grams)
Half a cup of ghee or melted butter (125 ml)
Two eggs
All-purpose flour (500 grams)
Half a tablespoon of salt (10 grams)
2. Knead the mixture for ten minutes, gradually adding half a cup of water (120 ml) until the dough is soft and elastic.
3. Cover the dough and let it rest for one hour.
4. Transfer the dough to a greased baking pan. Dip your fingers in an egg mixture and gently spread the dough evenly.
5. Sprinkle black seeds on top and let the dough rest in the pan for another twenty minutes.
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 450°F (250°C) using the bottom flame with the fan only.
7. Once golden, remove from the oven, cut into slices, and serve warm with tea and honey.
Perfect for sharing at tea time!
