How the US election will impact Russia's war in Ukraine

Russia unleashed its latest overnight drone strike on Ukraine – targeting Kyiv in an attack that is reported to have lasted hours.

All drones are said to have been shot down, but at least one injury was reported and several residential buildings were damaged.

The attack comes as those in Ukraine keep a close eye on Washington and the upcoming presidential election. As Redmond Shannon reports, many in Ukraine believe their future is largely in the hands of American voters.
