They've been together for 7 years, it was something beautiful for both of them. I think the reason nick decided to quit the relationship is because he doesn't feel it was a relationship anymore, more like something they have to show to the world (their fans), it's not as natural as it used to be, their relationship turn into a show, a perfectness when you look outside of it but full of flaws inside. You see, most of relationship wouldn't last when you let people get to it, their thoughts and opinions affect you, resulted in separation because of self-consciousness.
