I like the Orly rubberized base coat with the seche vita top coat.

My favorite base & top coats (and I used to be a nail polish blogger) are Gelous from Sally's and Seche Vite. I can get about a week before I get serious wear. Nail prep is more important than which products, however.

Lol I came to comment about top coat and bottom coat and happy to see my favorites are loved by others! I too love the Orly Bonder rubberized base coat and the blue bottle Seche Vive gel effect top coat. Chefs kiss!

Orly armour coat is the best of the best . I even use it over my acrylics

Since I started using indie nail polish base and top coats, I've never gone back. Glisten & Glow and Cuticula make great top coat. Cuticula and Polished for Days are my go to base coats.

Orly Bonder Base coat works great but a good top coat is key for longevity for me. Seche Vive Instant Gel Effect Top coat in the blue bottle is the absolute best in my book. It’s not a true gel that requires a light - and it’s a quick dry. Love love love it. OPI also has a good new top coat called Plumping. Both of these are thick top coats that have a glossy finish and really last.

Thanks Kara. Bummer about the Mario lippie (I really want that one too but am now on the fence). Perhaps try a lip primer first (Mac prep and prime is great)? Nail recommendations: base coat: Orly Bonder; top coat: Essie Gel Setter; and quick dry for the win Sally Hansen Insta-Dry top coat. I so wanted that sunset nail kit that you got but missed the boat! Enjoy :)

I bought a couple things from my wishlist, and refilled skincare. I think I did ok for myself with the sale.

I actually love the Ridge Filler base coat from Essence, it looks nice on its own but also is great as base and won‘t break the bank. However I have no clue if Essence is available in Canada. For top coat the best I had was the one from SuperChic Lacquer. Now I have the top coat from Cirque Colors (my fav brand for nail polishes in general, next to ILNP), but the top coat is not thicc and glossy enough 🤡 and offtopic, you look BOMB in that orange lipstick from MAC ✨

The Haus labs blushes were tempting me and they did not let me down. I didn’t get the red shade, but I feel like I should have. I also got bronzers… yes with a S as in plural, because very light bronzers are finally being released and my Casper paleness got excited. I got cream blushes (because I obviously didn’t need any more but I’m a clown, but a very dry skin one) and sunscreen… because Casper burns under the sun as if it was a vampire.
I remained pretty calm and I will be returning the items that I couldn’t make work at all. Aka a lipstick too pale and the Sephora brand concealer that made me look 200 yo 🤷‍♀️

I am so bad at nails I am no help there. I just kind of slap on some Sally Hansen's and go about my day. 😅
I didn't go too crazy during the sale, bought a couple of ND palettes I couldn't pass up and a back up of an older foundation, then I got 2 Haus pencil eyeliners and *holy cow* they're good. Trying a Fenty mascara I hadn't seen come out (Hella Thicc I think?) so I hope that's good. I'm so jealous about your Haus blush though. I've been wanting that red one since I saw it come out!

Top and base coats ride or die Nail Tek (can get at Ulta or drugstores) and Holo Taco makes a great formula, a little pricey compared to Nail Tek but worth it. The Haus labs blushes are so good. Try the hibiscus shade surprised it's my favorite.

Only purchased 2 items so very restrained. I 'spent' my $$ @ SDM during the bonus redemption weekend. Way better value!

Are all the “savings event” titles because it’s sponsored content? I’m at a loss why it’s changed from the “Sephora sale” unless it’s branding related.
