You are correct!! I learned that yrs ago. I use GasX. I carry it in my purse as it kills gut pain from gas that can be excruciatingly painful. But Gas X works great for me!!

Baking soda is less expensive and does a better job mix a little with water

I heard that tums is also good for soothing a canker sore (apply directly onto the ulcer) and can be used to shine jewlery (dissolve in water and let soak for 15 mins). Never tried either myself to confirm, so try it at your own risk.

One or two after I eat spaghetti or pizza. Works fine for my heartburn. Yes, I try to reduce how frequently I eat foods that give me heartburn..but hey sometimes I just gotta have it lol 🤷🏽‍♀️😆

They also make heartburn worse in the long run by making your stomach acid less acidic.

Some of them have simethicone too. And magnesium hydroxide and aluminium hydroxide which are good bases

yeah well i dont have gas or heart issues but i got cavities and it does work instantly to remove cavity dental this as simply calcium for teeth good for bone health

Dr M can you do video on if using calcium carbonate/Tums for heartburn too often causes rebound heartburn?Fennel caps or tea help w/gas. Pure calcium carbonate powder cheaper then TUMs and no chemicals.

By releasing acid it helps release acid which reduces it. 95% of what he says is crap, sorry not sorry for telling you this.

Have them in Australia only in a different name De Gas, my Dad bought and told me No Good they don’t work.

Never have used Tums. My mom said they weren’t good for you so I’ve never given Tums a second thought.
